Chocolate Almond Granolas

年纪大了,自然而然就想吃得健康点,以前会想买不同口味的面包当早餐,现在会为了身体,转吃燕麦片(oat),毕竟oat的GI值比面粉底,血糖升值慢,饱足感比较久,自然就不会想要吃零食。

本小姐很爱吃granola,一个星期可以吃完一整盒。当开始study granola的ingredient后,我发现supermarket买的granola其实隐藏着许多refine sugar,又high fat,最恐怖是你不了解的preservative
   
homemade granola的做法很simple,油糖的份量可以自己control,买好油用好的糖,健康饮食靠自己,不要被商家利用包装上的字眼欺骗了。
I had tried plenty of Granola recipe before, so far this is my most favorite version. Well, i guess no one can resist temptation from chocolate too right? ...hihi...

Ingredient that u need:
  • 1/4 cup grape seed oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 1/2 cup rolled oat 
  • 1/2 cup almond
  • 1/2 cup walnut
  • 1/2 cup dry raisin 

Combine the oat/almond/walnut in a large mixing bowl.
In a small sauce pan, heat up oil/honey/cocoa powder under low heat, stop the heat once it start bubble, whisk them well.
Pour the cocoa mixture into the oat mixture, stir until everything well coated. 
Spread the mixture evenly on prepared sheet pan, bake in 135 Celsius for 50 minutes.
Let the granola cool in the oven, and then store them in a airtight container.
